REAC from time to time and without notifying property owners conducts training and issues guidance on REAC physical inspections. This guidance affects how some defects are currently interpreted and applied, yet are not shared with property owners. This Webinar covers recent training and guidance that REAC provided which concerns deficiencies REAC Inspectors are having the most trouble with per REAC Inspectors’ supervisors.

The theme of the Webinar is to impart sufficient understanding of the process REAC uses to assure Inspector interpretation and application of the Inspection standards (UPCS) are consistently applied. Thus the learner will be able to recognize what defects are currently at risk of being misapplied during an inspection and prepare the property properly for at-risk defects.

Webinar Agenda

During the webinar, Hank will discuss the newly issued REAC COVID inspection procedures that have to be followed for both REAC inspectors and property owners. REAC has issued the procedures to assure that REAC Inspectors do not spread COVID but also contains polices properties owners must adhere to during a REAC Inspection. Also discussed, will be what properties will be targeted for an inspection, and what properties can do to avoid being inspected and stopping an inspection.
